Stella Pierides served on the Board of Directors of The Haiku Foundation, making numerous significant contributions. Her article “Parkinson’s Toolbox: The Case for Haiku” appeared in Juxtapositions: A Journal of Research and Scholarship in Haiku in 2022. Stella has served as managing editor of Haikupedia, The Haiku Foundation Encyclopedia of Haiku, and manager of Per Diem, the daily haiku feature of The Haiku Foundation. She also initiated and served as Managing Editor of the Haiku for Parkinson’s feature.
Stella’s work has been published and anthologized widely. Books include: Of This World (2017) and In the Garden of Absence (2012), both HSA Merit Book Award winners.
