John Zheng is the author of several poetry collections including The Dog Years of ReeducationA Way of Looking, and Delta Sun, editor of seven books including Sonia Sanchez’s Poetic Spirit through Haiku and Conversations with Lenard D. Moore, and coeditor of Dana Gioia: Poet & Critic and two other books. He received three poetry fellowships from the Mississippi Arts Commission.
