John Zheng is the author of several poetry collections including The Dog Years of Reeducation, A Way of Looking, and Delta Sun, editor of seven books including Sonia Sanchez’s Poetic Spirit through Haiku and Conversations with Lenard D. Moore, and coeditor of Dana Gioia: Poet & Critic and two other books. He received three poetry fellowships from the Mississippi Arts Commission.
