This Month in Haikupedia — November 24, 2024
The Haiku Foundation welcomes you to Haikupedia!
For November, the Haikupedia editors have compiled a fine group of bios, including those of Hungarian-born poets Ádám T. Bogár and Rebeka Sára; Polish poet Urszula Winiarska; German haiku poet and translator Klaus-Dieter Wirth; and American haikai poets Cathy Drinkwater Better and Cherie Hunter Day. A new article about the H. Gene Murtha Memorial Senryu Contest (2016- ) details its history and the winning poems through the years this popular contest has been running. Recent updates have been completed for the biographies of Ewa Tomaszewska (Poland) Emiko Miyashita (Japan), and Judit Vihar (Hungary), as well as for articles on Sharpening the Green Pencil Haiku Contest (2012- ) and the Francine Porad Award (2004- ).
We welcome your feedback and involvement. If you have suggestions, comments, or note any errors, please contact the editors using the Haikupedia Contact Box. We look forward to reading your reactions to and ideas for this important project!
