DESCRIPTION:The contest is organized by the Haiku Award Executive Committee of the Association of Haiku Peoples of Albacete (AGHA) and sponsored by several entities\, including the Cervantes Institute in Tokyo\, the Miyagi St. John the Baptist Museum\, and the Michinoku Date Masamune Historical Museum. \nMarch 11\, 2026 marks the 15th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake.\nIn remembrance of this event\, AGHA is requesting haikus in Spanish (haikus written in other co-official languages of Spain\, such as Catalan\, Basque\, Galician\, or Valencian\, are also accepted) for the Children’s\, Youth\, and Adult categories.
