The Haiku Foundation thanks its generous patrons from Thanksgiving to St. Nicholas’s Day with special presentations of work accomplished during the past year, and invites everyone to contribute to our continuing success by donating during our Fundraiser.
THF Fact of the Day: In 2024 The Haiku Foundation continued with its THF Volunteer Appreciative Initiative, celebrating the hundreds of people who have made The Haiku Foundation possible over our first decade and a half. As part of the festivities we curated and released xxx, the third THF Volunteer Anthology, available for free download, and as a hard copy via Amazon.

To mark this auspicious occasion we are featuring a article selected from each issue throughout our fundraiser. Today's article, from issue 3, is “Haiku and the Brain” by Stella Pierides, Hermann J. Muller, Jim Kacian, Franziska Gunther and Thomas Geyer.
Did You Know? In 2024 The Haiku Foundation was the recipient of a bequest from poet Susan Diridoni. By remembering our work in her will, Susan helps us continue to expand our library, features, and operations. Might you consider thinking of us as well?
Please consider donating to this year’s THF Fundraiser. You make all the difference! The Haiku Foundation relies on community volunteers to keep our many projects and resources running smoothly. Several posts will be opening up at the end of the year so we currently need feature administrators and project managers.
