organizationThe Haiku Foundation thanks its generous patrons from Thanksgiving to St. Nicholas’s Day with special presentations of work accomplished during the past year, and invites everyone to contribute to our continuing success by donating during our Fundraiser.



THF Fact of the Day: In 2023 The Haiku Foundation presented the work of a dozen haiga artists working with a variety of media and models. More than 300 new pieces were debuted, and are now available in the Haiga Galleries, which is managed by THF president Jim Kacian.

Juxta Featured Article: 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of the appearance of Juxtapositions: Research and Scholarship in Haiku, the only journal dedicated to these matters in English. Did You Know? In 2024 The Haiku Foundation was the recipient of a bequest from poet Susan Diridoni. By remembering our work in her will, Susan helps us continue to expand our library, features, and operations. Might you consider thinking of us as well?
