Fortnight: The Season of Thanks & Giving — Day 10 (final day!)

Today wraps up the final day of Fortnight: The Season of Thanks & Giving, The Haiku Foundation’s annual fundraising drive. We hope you enjoyed our retrospective of our works in 2025 and the various projects and features we have provided to the haiku community. We are grateful to all of our donors and for your ongoing support.

The Haiku Foundation is funded in its entirety by community donations. Will you help by contributing?

What Our Users Say:

“The Haiku Foundation is the ultimate destination for the haiku community, with lots of opportunities to exchange ideas, learn something new, or dig into the many resources. I especially like learning more about contemporary poets in the Haiku Registry.”

THF Fact of the Day:

In 2025, The Haiku Foundation added nearly 100 volumes to its hardcopy library and more than 100 volumes to its digital library. Digital Librarian Dan Campbell has highlighted some of our holdings in Librarian’s Cache, and featured others in Book of the Week.

JUXTA Featured Article:

Juxtapositions: Research and Scholarship in Haiku, the only journal dedicated to these matters in English, celebrates its 11th anniversary this year. JUXTA is the product of several dedicated haiku scholars, editors, and contributors. To celebrate this milestone, we are featuring selected articles throughout our fundraiser. Today’s feature, from JUXTA ELEVEN, is a selection of haiga featuring art by Ion Codrescu and poems by various poets.

The Haiku Foundation is 100% volunteer-run and relies on community volunteers to keep our many projects and resources running smoothly. We are always looking for folks to join our team of volunteers who generously donate their time and talents to support our mission.
