Josh Hockensmith is a writer, book artist, and librarian who has worked with haiku since the 1990s. He helped found the Richmond Haiku Workshop. He is interested in book arts, the history and future of the book, and literary translation. He is the library assistant at Sloane Art Library at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where he is also working toward an MA in Art History.
