Heinrich R. Liesefeld obtained his PhD in 2012 within the scope of the IRTG Adaptive Minds, hosted by Saarland University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Beijing). He is now a tenured Senior Researcher for Applied Statistics and Cognitive Modeling at the University of Bremen. His current research focuses on distraction and priority computations within the fields of spatial selective attention and visual working memory, using psychophysics, electroencephalography, eye tracking, and computational modeling.
