Nominate for the 2025 Touchstone Award for Individual Poems!
Every year since 2010, you’ve helped The Haiku Foundation reward excellence and innovation in the haiku genre. Thank you!
These poems represent noteworthy additions to English-language haiku and senryu, and with your help again this year, our panelists will have as broad and top-flight a selection of poems as possible.
For individual nominations, please utilize this Google FORM.
For editors and contest organizers that haven’t recently heard from me, please reach out to me HERE for the appropriate guidelines and links.
A few more important details:
Please do not post poems in the comments, rather utilize the Google FORM.
For individual nominations, send us two of your favorites, only one of which can be your work (or you can send two that belong to other poets).
Please familiarize yourselves with the esteemed panelists; any poems nominated for these folks are ineligible and removed from the list. In addition, the Chair of the Board, the President, and the Coordinator of the Individuals Poems Award are also ineligible for the award.
Nominated poems must have been published in a paper, journal, contest, or book in 2025. Haiku and senryu that are self-published or appear on personal blogs are ineligible.
Please submit your nominations no later than the end of the year. Please also supply complete citations: journal name, volume, and number, or complete contest information (no acronyms, please).
All duplicate nominations are culled, so having a poem of your own nominated more than once is redundant.
All nominations are tracked by our database. Please refrain from sending in multiple nomination forms.
Previous award recipients are displayed in the Touchstone Archive.
You can find more eligibility information and how to submit nominations on the Touchstone Award for Individual Poems home page.
We look forward to seeing your nominations soon!
