Quirin Würschinger is research assistant at the Chair of Modern English Linguistics at LMU Munich. He uses computational methods to study cognitive and sociolinguistic aspects of language and language use. His recent research interests include lexical innovation, social network analysis, and machine learning approaches for modelling semantic variation and change. His work is based on a variety of data sources, ranging from social media and web data to linguistic corpora and haiku.
