Cystic Acne Remedy

Cystic acne is the most sever type of acne that anyone can have as it leaves large nodules under the skin that then harden into cysts. These are not like pimples that go away in few days. In fact, they can last for many weeks at a time and are very painful for the person involved. In most cases, the cysts require medical attention in order to resolve them and prevent more from being formed.

There is a cure drug for Cystic acne and its called Accutane. Accutane is a medical drug that is taken orally by the patient once or twice a day for sixteen to twenty weeks. Accutane has been designed to reduce the oil glands so that less oil is produced. This then reduces the chance of the pores clogging.

Skin pores clog when there is too much oil being produced by the skin. This is why many people with acne have shiny skin. Accutane has been a great success for many people with acne and most people have seen a huge reduction in the number of cysts that they get. They also report that the cysts that they did have were becoming less irritable.

Because Accutane is so effective the patients should see a big reduction and in many cases a complete cure of their acne when they first use the drug. On top of this, the drug is very good for preventing and reducing the scaring that is common among people with acne. The main problem comes when the patient has to stop taking the drug

At this time the acne can return and the person will need to go on another course of the drug. If the acne returns then the patient will most likely have to return for another course of the drug. This is not always wise as there are some potentially severe side effects from Accutane.

For example, side effects can include inflammation of the lip, inflammation of the mucous membrane on the eyes, dry mouth, nose, or skin, itching, and muscle aches. There are also more serious side effects and some patients can have decreased levels of blood cholesterol, lipid, and triglyceride levels, and abnormal liver enzymes which are very serious indeed.

If you ever used this drug and have any of the side effects then you need to cease taking it right away. You also need to contact your physician right away and tell him about the side effects. He will want to see you and check that everything is ok.

In most cases, the side effects will subside once you stop taking the drug. Any pregnant women must not use the drug as it could cause birth defects in extreme cases. For these serious reasons, you really need to consult your doctor or physician regularly for check ups. You also need to seriously consider your options before using this drug. It is best to try alternative medications first and then use this a last resort.

Cystic acne is a very serious form of acne and it can be cured, but you need to ensure that you do whatever you can to be safe. Always keep a log of your results and feelings so your health is the top priority.

How to Have Flawless Complexion

Applying makeup correctly and having flawless, long wearing results starts long before you put the first hint of color on your face. Preparation using the right products for both cleansing and moisturizing as well as the proper concealer and foundation is key in order for you to achieve overall success. Concealing is the art of covering dark spots, freckles, sun damage or any other color imperfections on the skin surface. The color of the concealer should be one or two shades lighter than your foundation. By using a lighter shade, it will not only lighten the darker spots, but will give a uniform color to you skin when the foundation is applied. Dont use a darker color to conceal a flaw. This will only highlight it when you apply your foundation. The spots or imperfections will appear even darker after the foundation is applied compared to the rest of your face. Some skin whiteners contain hydroquinone and mercury which can be very harmful to your health and possibly even cause cancer. Synthetic chemicals are never the best way to go in terms of skin care or your overall health. Luckily, there are all natural skin whiteners available on the market today. These products safely and effectively whiten your skin without the use of any synthetic chemicals but, achieve the same effect. They are very effective in removing discoloration from the skin and body but, the active ingredients in these products come from nature.Cleansing qualities are present in many herbs. Rosemary, chamomile, dandelion and lime flowers are some such purifier. Their skin care qualities come out with combination with herbs like tea. If you have oily skin, look for an oil-free moisturizer that will not make your skin too oily. If you have combination skin, look for an oil-free moisturizer and a moisture booster to use on the drier areas of your face. This will help each area of your face stay hydrated at the correct levels all day long. A great moisturizer for dry skin is, Philosophys Hope in a Jar for dry, sensitive skin. I recommend Kinerase Clear Skin Moisture Light, for oily skin, it leaves a nice dewy finish on the face.Severely sore cysts require the injection of interlesional corticosteroid, which acts by melting the cyst within 3-5 days and prevents scars. Isotretinoin is an effective acne scar treatment. It works by reducing the activity of the oil glands and is widely regarded as the most effective drug to fight cystic acne. However, this pill has serious side-effects on liver and the nervous system and as such should not be used during pregnancy. To cover imperfections apply foundation first and then go back and dot on a concealer that neutralizes red.br

How to use Blackhead remover to get rid of pimples and comedones

When ever you go to a beautician, dermatologists, cosmetologists Always prefer to take your own tools with you to prevent yourself from Blood born infections like Hepatitis B.C, HIV.

How To remove Blackhead.

It is highly advised that you should also consult your dermatologists for proper use of these quality tools. However, here we can give you simple techniques to use comedone extractor. Pesky blackheads are a mixture of dead skin cells, oil and bacteria that builds up inside our skins pores. Use the same tools as professional aestheticians or dermatologists use to extract blackheads, pimples clogged pores. They can be exterminated by using a quality professional comedone extractor.

First, lay a warm, wet washcloth on your face for a few minutes. After a shower is an ideal time to extract. steaming the face, or using a hot water compress is strongly recommended to help soften comedones. This will make them much easier to remove. When youre ready to begin the extraction process lay the looped side on top of the blackhead – basically encircling this area with the loop. Apply slow and even pressure lightly until the trapped sebum is forced out of the follicle. The blackhead ? oil and all ? will ooze up and out of the pore. Do not continue to attempt the extraction if the trapped sebum is not released easily. Applying too much force can cause infection and scarring. When piercing a whitehead with lancet (Pointed end), wait until the whitehead breaks open, then gently roll the tool over the whitehead. Be sure to disinfect the area when finished and clean your tool off with alcohol or hot water. A deep, cystic pimple should not be opened with the lancet. When dealing with deep acne, its best to visit a dermatologist. A doctor may use a sterile needle, but only after a pustule has formed. Additional treatments depend on the severity of the acne. Remember Never use fingers or suction guns for removing blackheads, these may aggravate skin infections.

Some women buy suction guns for blackheads. One of biggest disadvantage of suction guns is that these cant be sterilized. Suction guns toys never clean the pores completely and deeply, result is that you will get acne and pimples again. Suction Gun may cause broken capillary conditions and is also not very effective. Only the very superficial dead cells and dirt may be sucked away, leaving the condition with no evident improvement.

Always use Professional quality tools for your skin rather than buying cheaper and lower quality implements.

Acne Free In 3 Days – Review

If someone claimed he got rid of his acne in 3 days, would you believe it?

You might be skeptical because youve tried many acne remedies that either took longer than three days to work or that didnt do anything at all.

Chris Gibson wrote a book about how he discovered a natural way to get rid of his acne and called it Acne Free In 3 Days.

The name of his book gets your attention and seems to promise youll discover a way to get rid of your own acne in three days — But, nowhere in his book does he ever make that claim.

The claim he makes is there is a natural remedy – not a cure – which he is using and it has helped his skin stay free of acne for over twenty years.

In the first part of Acne Free In 3 Days, Chris talks about how acne has affected his life since he was 15. He describes how he had tried over the counter remedies to how he found a dermatologist who prescribed Accutane for his cystic or nodular acne.

Soon after a horrifying experience with Accutane, Chris discovers the natural remedy for acne that he outlines in the second part of his book.

If you believe the only thing that will help you get rid of your acne are pills or creams prescribed by a dermatologist, then you will probably have a hard time accepting the concept behind the non-drug acne treatment Chris describes.

Chris reveals exactly what he did to get rid of his acne in three days. He presents his book as a personal testimonial that the natural method he is using has eliminated his acne.

It is up to you to decide after reading his story, that you will make the effort to try what has worked for him.

How to Completely Cure Acne – Period

by admin on Nov.26, 2009, under Uncategorized

Author: Chase Michaelsbr

br
Most people that have had acne long term fall into one of two traps. The first being that they think they can cure their acne with commercial products or pills, and the 2nd being that they think they are stuck with acne until they grow out of it. Neither of these falsehoods could be further from the truth.

The real truth is that the only way to get completely clear is the natural way. It is not a quick fix, but a healthier alternative that does take some work. If you dont have the motivation to make some lifestyle changes, then you should look somewhere else because this article is not for you.

For the rest of you that have tried everything under the sun with little to no success, I will tell you how you can get completely clear in just about a month or so if you follow my guidelines.

The first thing you need to do is alter your diet. If you are genetically prone to acne you simply cannot eat the same foods that your friends and family might be able to eat. It might not be what you want to hear, but its true. Inflammatory foods must be eliminated as well as foods loaded with hormones (dairy is one of the biggest culprits here.)

Next, you need to get at least 30 minutes of exercise (preferably aerobic) 4-5 times a week. This will improve your circulation and regulate over-active hormones, which is what causes excess sebum (which ultimately causes acne.)

Lastly, and this step is optional, I recommend a few high quality supplements. This will speed along the clearing process, but is not absolutely necessary if you get the proper nutrients from your diet. Spirulina, for one, is a high quality super-food that can be found inexpensively at just about any health food store.

If you want a detailed blueprint on how you can become completely acne free in under 4 weeks, check out my blog today. Good luck.

What You Need To Know About Glycolic Acid

by admin on Nov.25, 2009, under Uncategorized

Author: David Mailliebr
Source: articlemarketer.combr
br
Glycolic acid has been used for many years as a metal parts cleaner, but in recent years has been refined and made suitable for human application. In its refined or medical grade state it has been found effective as a light to mild strength skin peel acid. Glycolic is natural and based on sugar cane and is similar to other alpha hydroxyl acids (AHA) like malic acid. There are stronger skin peels like TCA Peel and the Obagi Blue Peel, but the glycolic peel is a good starter and touch up skin care treatment.

Some people when they hear of acids thing of hazardous and caustic chemicals that can permanently burn and scar. This is not the case with glycolic acid. When used as indicated or by doctors in their offices it has been found to be effective on light acne (pimples and blackheads)and light skin problems like freckles and light sun damage. Glycolic acid is good at reducing oil on the surface, restoring the skins natural pH and causing the outer layer of skin to exfoliate. Glycolic acid is highly soluble and when applied to the skin it breaks the intercellular bonds in the outermost skin layer. The skin will eventually peel or flake off and result in fresher skin. Regular exfoliation has been proven to make the skin healthier and have less of a chance for pore blockage.

Glycolic is not as effective on deeper skin issues like mild to severe acne, cystic acne, acne scars, wrinkles, etc. Deeper conditions like these require a stronger acid peel like the TCA peel or Obagi Blue peel by Dr. Obagi. Both of these have been found very effective against many deeper skin conditions. This is why, along with glycolic acid, doctors recommend a form of TCA peel skin peel in office or for in home skin treatments.

Many people have found glycolic acid added to an astringent like Sea Breeze, makes it 10X more effective in reducing pimples and light breakouts. Medical studies have proven that glycolic acid, TCA peel and the Obagi Blue Peel greatly enhance an astringent in acne reduction when applied daily as a cleanser. Of these the TCA peel was found most effective for reducing all forms of acne.

There are more powerful and effective skin peels available and most are now available for in home use, but glycolic is a good starter skin peel and should not be overlooked. It is also a good maintenance treatment for in between stronger TCA peel applications.br

Finding The Best Treatment For Adult Acne

by admin on Nov.25, 2009, under Uncategorized

br
Finding the best treatment for adult acne is not always an easy process, but if you suffer from adult acne, you may find that searching for treatments is completely necessary. Unlike the eighty five percent of teenagers who suffer from acne, only eight percent of adults have problem acne. As a result, it is an embarrassing affliction that causes most sufferers a low self-esteem level. Just like in high school, you may even feel teased by those around you because of your problem skin condition. Most adults who suffer from this horrible affliction have been treating their problem for years with various products. Some work, and some dont. Curing it is just a matter of finding the best treatment for adult acne.

One of the best methods of treatment is a holistic approach. Including concerns like diet, nutrition, and stress levels in your approach to acne means fewer outbreaks to deal with. You can control your acne through your diet by including as many servings of fruits and vegetables in your diet as you can. You should switch to whole grains whenever possible, and be sure to drink as much water as you can hold. Moreover, you should consider adding Vitamin A, Vitamin B6, and zinc to your line up of supplements. Lowering your stress level with a weekly massage is also the best treatment for adult acne, as it can increase circulation, which can help your body fight acne causing bacteria.

While the best treatment for adult acne is a holistic approach, the prescription medications that are on the market also get good marks. Visit with your doctor to see if one of them is right for you. They can have some pretty serious side effects, but they do seem to work, according to most consumer review websites./pbr

You CAN Cure Acne With Lifestyle Changes

by admin on Nov.23, 2009, under Health & Fitness

Author: Dan Calaway
Source: ezinearticles.com

Before you spend another dime on a worthless acne product, I highly advise you to read this article. Have you tried everything from benzoyl peroxide to Accutane with little or no long-term success? Me too. For 10+ years. I finally realized that the only way to cure acne is to deal with it at the root and stop masking the symptoms!

It took about 2 and a half years of research, but I finally figured out what has completely cured me and many others that I have helped. If you’re disciplined, here are the steps you will need to take to get clear.

1. You need to alter your diet. You may not want to hear this but diet plays a crucial role in the development of acne if you are acne prone. In short, genetics cause people to be predisposed to acne. This is why certain people can eat whatever they want and be clear and people like us cannot. I highly suggest you avoid any food that is considered inflammatory or any food that spikes your blood sugar fast.

2. Supplement. A few high quality supplements you can get from your local GNC or health food store will give your body the extra nutrients it needs to ward off acne. Spirulina for one is a nutrient dense super-food that I highly recommend. It’s also very inexpensive.

3. You need to get a little bit of sunlight daily (if possible) for vitamin D. Vitamin D is one of the biggest deficiencies in the world today, so if you cannot get enough sunlight during the winter months I suggest going back to step 2 and supplementing with cod liver oil. Of course, ask your doctor before starting any supplement if you are not sure what you are doing.

If you want an exact blueprint on how you can get completely clear in just under a month, check out my blog for more information.

Good luck!

My name is Dan Calaway, and I suffered with acne for 10 years (this includes blackheads and MASSIVE cystic acne on my back, neck, and chest.) After using just about every acne product on the market (including Accutane), I finally figured out how to clear acne the all natural way. If you are in the same boat that I was in, check out my blog today.

Causes Of Cystic Acne

by admin on Nov.23, 2009, under Health & Fitness

Author: Dean Iggo
Source: articledashboard.com

It took scientists years to determine the causes of cystic acne. Cystic acne works when tiny holes in your skin, called pores, become plugged with bacteria, sweat, and dirt. For most people, the cycle stops at a pimple, but for some, the pimple goes on to form a deep rooted, painful cyst. These can be seen on the face and the trunk of the body. The most common cause is heredity.

If your parents had cystic acne, you are destined to get it too. However, it could also be cause by odd levels of certain hormones in your body. Many women experience cystic acne around the time of their menstrual cycle. Extensive sweat can also be a factor in cystic acne. Certain medications you may be taking can also contribute to cystic acne. The causes of cystic acne are varied, but no matter what the cause, those painful cysts on your face simply aren’t going to disappear by themselves.

Cystic acne has a number of different treatments. One of the most popular methods of remedy is Isotretinoin. It is a pill that is taken for fifteen to twenty weeks depending on the severity of the acne. It does, though, cause some serious side effects. In women, it can cause birth related side effects like miscarriages or birth defects. It cannot be used in conjunction with a pregnancy, and if a girl is using Isotretinoin, she must also use two types of birth control to ensure that no fetus is conceived. Other serious side effects can occur, so if you are considering this remedy, talk to a doctor first.

There are a number of natural home remedy products that fight the causes of cystic acne. From facial scrubs to creams, you should investigate all of them before you make your final purchase.
